POST-DEGREE DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The Camosun
Post-Degree Diplomas (POD) in Business Administration
are designed for students who have completed a bachelors degree and desire supplementary
training In business in order to further their careers. Offering three
streams – Accounting, Human
Resource Management and Leadership,
and Marketing - these programs will
offer students the opportunity to develop skills needed for the modern
workplace. Additionally, the programs offer Internship options allowing students to gain real world experience in
the Canadian workforce.
Post-Degree
Diploma in Business Administration-Accounting Option
Targeted towards
students seeking to take courses to satisfy Certified Management Accounting (CMA),
Certified General Accounting (CGA), or Certified Accounting (CA) requirements, the PDD in Business Administration Accounting option will provide
students with the background and knowledge
needed to enter business or government in an accounting capacity. Internships are available for this program.
Post-Degree
Diploma in Business Administration-Human Resource Management & Leadership
Option
The Post-Degree Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource Management& Leadership option offers learners with a bachelor’s
degree from a recognized Institution an
opportunity to complete a diploma program In Human Resource Management
& Leadership in one academic year. Students will gain valuable business
skills relevant to working as human resource practitioners while budding on
past learning. There is particular emphasis placed on leadership and change
management. This program incorporates some of the key elements required to
pursue a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation. Internships
are available for this program.
Post-Degree
Diploma in Business Administration-Marketing Option
The Marketing option prepares
students for involvement in the
exciting. Expanding fields of
retail, public relations advertising,
sales and general marketing management in your course of studies. You will
develop practical skills for immediate use in today’s marketing environrment.
Considerable attention is given to learning how to communicate effectively with
management customers and the
general public. Internships are available for this program.
