Study in USA at University of Findlay,Ohio


2013-2014Undergraduate Tuition
A full-time undergraduate student at The University of Findlay normally takes between 12-18 credit hours per semester.  A full year of undergraduate tuition is $28,894.00.  Scholarship opportunities range from $8000.00 per year - $13,500.00 per year (valid all four years except for summer sessions and IELP).

*Undergraduate students are charged a $200.00 per year student activity fee and a $704.00 per year general service fee.

Room and board are optional for international students.  Room and board for one year is approximately $9,258.00.  Most international students live off campus saving them approximately $4,300.00 per year.

MBA - $590.00 per credit hour
A full-time MBA student must take a minimum of six credit hours each quarter.  If a student takes three quarters per year, then the first year of MBA tuition would be 18 credit hours times $590.00 per credit hour equals$10,620.00 per year.  MBA degree requires a total of 33 credit hours.  Tuition for completion of the MBA program would be 33 credit hours times $590.00 per credit hour which would equal a total MBA degree from The University of Findlay for $19,470.00.

Students in the MBA program will receive a $500.00 per quarter scholarship for up to four quarters bringing the cost of earning an MBA degree from The University of Findlay to $27,470.00 after scholarships.   Books are included in tuition.Price is for MBA tuition and does not include any prerequisite courses if required.

Master of Education
A total of 33 credit hours are required for a Master of Education degree at The University of Findlay.   Full time requirement for the graduate level is nine credit hours per semester.  One year of study in the Master of Education program would be $479.00 per credit hour times 18 credit hours equals $8,622.00 per year.  Tuition for the entire Master of Education degree is $15,807.00.  Students receive a $1,000.00 scholarship bringing the total for the degree to $14,807.00.  Books are not included.

Master of Arts in TESOL/Bilingual Education
A total of 36 credit hours are required for a Master of Arts in TESOL/Bilingual Education degree at The University of Findlay.  Full time requirement for the graduate level is nine credit hours per semester.  One year of study in the Master of Arts in TESOL/Bilingual Education would be $479.00 per credit hour times 18 credit hours equals $8,622.00 per year.  Tuition for the entire Master of Arts in TESOL/Bilingual Education degree is $17,244.00.  Students receive a $1,000.00 scholarship bringing the total for the degree to $16,244.00.  Books are not included.

Our Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) established in 1989 serves domestic and international students from around the world.  We provide an intensive curriculum that will prepare classroom teachers and specialists to critically analyze and implement programs for English language learners.

Master of Science in Environmental, Safety, and Health Management (ES&H)
A total of 33 credit hours are required for a Master of Science in Environmental, Safety, and Health Management degree at The University of Findlay.  Full time requirement for the graduate level is six credit hours per quarter.  One year of study at the Master of Science in Environmental, Safety, and Health Management would be $590.00 per credit hour times 18 credit hours equals $10,620.00 per year.  Tuition for the entire Master of Science in Environmental, Safety, and Health Management degree is $19,470.00. 

Students in the Environmental program will receive a $500.00 per quarter scholarship for up to four quarters bringing the cost of earning an MS in Environmental, Safety, and Health Managementdegree from The University of Findlay to $17,470.00 after scholarships.   Books are included in tuition.

The Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management (ES&H) degree is designed to provide graduates with the necessary skills to make managerial decisions and provide leadership in environmental, safety and occupational health (ESH) careers. The program combines science, engineering, policy and business concepts to prepare students in five areas:
  1. Business Knowledge:Understanding executive, strategic and operational business concepts as they apply to ESH issues;
  2. Analytical Skills:Use quantitative mathematical/statistical methods as well as program-specific computer applications and online tools to assess and interpret data and other information whether it is of laboratory, field, engineering, financial or managerial origin;
  3. Managerial Skills:Apply the leadership, facilitation, negotiation and coordination techniques that are effectively used to address ESH issues among employees, organizations, communities and nations;
  4. Technical Knowledge:Solve problems in selected areas of regulatory compliance and enforcement; basic and applied ESH science; engineering controls for risk reduction; behavior- and audit-based hazard management systems; functional ESH and project administrative tasks;
  5. Integrative Skills:Integrate business knowledge, analytical skills, managerial skills and technical knowledge into effective actions and presentations.
*Graduate students are charged a general service fee based on credit hours.  A student taking less than nine credit hours will be charged $36.00 per credit hour fee.  A student taking more than nine credit hours will be charged a $684.00 per year general service fee.  A graduate student will be charged $26.00 activity fee per session/quarter.
